Monalisa Baruah Mehta

Former National Table Tennis Champion, Monalisa is the recipient of Arjuna Award in 1987, the second highest award for sports in India. Although she shifted her base from Assam to Mumbai after her marriage to another Arjuna awardee and 8 times national TT champion Mr Kamlesh Mehta, Assam never left her heart and she continues to work tirelessly with various NGOs on social developmental projects in the north east. She is currently working With Oil India Ltd as Senior Manager, HR & Admin.
